About Us
Hey! We are Sarah and Aaron, two Architecture Graduates from the University of Strathclyde. We love to make, design and create and want to help others do the same. We realised that there wasn’t a space in Glasgow where people could go to share ideas, be creative and just go to make things. So, we started This Is Makers with the goal of creating a friendly and helpful laser cutting facility where people can bring their ideas to life.
What do you do?
Currently, we offer a range of services from Cut + Collect where you send us your laser files, sit back and we take care of the rest.
To Bespoke, where you can work with us to create a one of kind item. Or if you have a brand or business, we also offer a custom small-scale manufacturing service specific to you.
Our Mission
We want to open the world of making up to a wider range of people. One of the ways we are making it more accessible is through our Cut + Collect laser cutting service which was developed to be a fast, simple and streamlined process from start to finish.
Our main future goal is to open a makerspace with a fun and friendly environment that allows people to come and express their creativity. A place where you can collaborate with likeminded people, use our space and machines to create something unique. Ultimately, forming a community of Makers!
We believe you don’t need to be the next Michelangelo to create something amazing so Let’s Make Stuff!
